The best in the North West just got better: more WISH Gift Cards for buyers at The Ponds
Sydney 7 May 2007: Due to popular demand, the offer of WISH Gift Cards worth $10,000 each for purchasers at The Ponds, the most idyllic residential location in Sydney’s North West, has been extended for the next 30 buyers.
The first offer of 30 WISH Gift Cards was snapped up in less than three weeks as families rushed to buy into the unique lifestyle offered in the Waterlily release, the first stage of The Ponds, which is fast becoming North-Western Sydney’s most sought-after new community.
Another 30 WISH Gift Cards will allow families to shop till they drop at outlets including participating Woolworths, Caltex Woolworths co-branded outlets, Dick Smith Electronics, PowerHouse, Tandy, BIG W, BWS, and more, and will be offered with the release of 32 land lots in stage 2, Lotus and also the newly released, Waterlily homes.
“As can be seen from the popularity of Waterlily land, The Ponds is being recognised as a very special place to live,” said George Rounis, Australand’s Project Director for The Ponds.
“We are proud of this early success and glad to be able to offer the WISH Gift Cards to more purchasers as an extra bonus when they buy at The Ponds.
The Ponds, which is earning a reputation for being the way nature intended life to be, is a masterplanned residential community resulting from a development partnership between Australand and Landcom. The new suburb represents an opportunity for families to enjoy a unique bushland lifestyle with the added benefit of waterbodies within the development.
The sound of frogs at dusk, bushwalking at dawn, cycling, picnicking and park sports will form an integral part of your new lifestyle at The Ponds.
“Now is an exciting time as this vibrant new community takes shape,” Mr Rounis said.
“Water features will form a focal point for the entire community and a centrepiece will be the landmark nature corridor covering more than 80ha of this impressive 390ha neighbourhood.”
At The Ponds, most streets either begin or end in a green space, which means residents can take advantage of the more than 1 million trees, plants and native grasses that are being planted.
The initial land lots and homes are part of a limited pre-release offer prior to a formal launch later in 2007.
All blocks are near level and provide access to power, water, phone and gas, while design guidelines ensure diversified streetscapes. There is also a wide selection of home styles available. Most homes boast four bedrooms, open plan living areas, stylish kitchen, study and additional rumpus room.
“We are excited to be partnering with Landcom in a project that has seen the rejuvenation of a beautiful part of New South Wales and represents one of the largest ever land releases in the state,” Mr Rounis said.
On completion, The Ponds promises to be the jewel in the crown of Sydney’s north western suburbs. It will feature two schools, a community centre, two childcare centres, sporting fields, parks and a neighbourhood shopping centre. Nearby is the major new town centre being developed at Rouse Hill.
Australand and Landcom continue to build on their impressive reputation as environmentally focused community planners, with all aspects of The Ponds driven by green initiatives.
A recycled water main runs through the project which will ensure homes in the community have access to recycled water, ensuring that gardens and lawns will not be affected by water restrictions.
Each home has been designed to include conservation features that equate to 40% reductions in water and energy use.
