Latest Land Release at The Ponds - A Big Hit With Buyers
Thirty two lots within the Lotus neighbourhood were released at the end of May with nine lots being snapped up in the first week!
The latest land release at The Ponds, Lotus, has been a big hit with buyers eager to secure a place in the North West’s newest suburb.
Thirty two lots within the Lotus neighbourhood were released in the last week in May with nine being snapped up very quickly, proving the popularity of this exceptional residential development. The release was so popular that some purchasers camped out over night to ensure they were at the head of the queue the next day.
A partnering arrangement between Landcom and Australand, The Ponds is a vibrant new 390ha community offering a unique water and woodland environment centred around a magnificent 80ha nature corridor.
According to George Rounis, Australand’s, project director for The Ponds, the new release features land lots ranging from 451m² to 584m² with prices starting from $260,000.
“These are good sized, near level building blocks with access to electricity, phone, water and gas services as well as recycled water to reduce the per capita consumption of potable water. Many of the Lotus land lots boast 18 metre frontages which gives customers the flexibility to build a single level home, or a larger double storey home.
“The Ponds is an idyllic location for your new home with a meticulously formulated masterplan that draws on the partnership between two of Australia’s leading home, community and building corporations – Landcom and Australand” said George Rounis.
“In addition to the new land release we have oversized family homes available within the Waterlily neighbourhood priced from $500,000 to $580,000. These spacious homes feature four bedrooms – main with ensuite, separate study or home office, stylish kitchens with Smeg appliances, paved alfresco entertaining areas, landscaped gardens and a lot more.
“Each home is energy smart with wall and ceiling insulation and gas boosted hot water systems. This means families will be able to save up to 20% on Sydney’s average household energy usage – and lessen the impact on the environment” George Rounis added.
Design guidelines ensure that streetscapes at The Ponds offer diversity while the community maintains an attractive design harmony. The majority of streets either begin or end in a green space which means you are never far away from nature.
Residents at The Ponds will enjoy nature’s diversity and a neighbourhood based community like no other in North Western Sydney. The Ponds itself will include schools, childcare facilities, playgrounds, an array of sporting facilities and a retail precinct.
