The Spring season is off to a strong start at The Ponds, the fastest growing suburb in New South Wales with 30 deposits placed on land during the first weekend in September.
Approximately 160 new land lots will be released during Spring at The Ponds.
Robert Sullivan, General Manager of Corporate Marketing for Landcom comments, “The Ponds is a sales phenomenon which is not only setting new sales records for the North West, but for lifestyle communities across New South Wales.”
“What we produce is what we sell. Over the past 12 months production capacity has been increased and demand has equally matched it. Our aim is to always have land to sell, but the demand is simply so high that stock levels are rapidly being depleted each month.”
“The Ponds offers purchasers a unique product in an idyllic suburban environment. There are plenty of facilities for families to enjoy including parks, BBQ areas, a natural woodland environment, kilometres of walk and cycle paths, ponds and a new state-of-the-art sports facility is currently under construction and due to open in the first half of 2011,” he added.
“House hunters looking in the North West have simply been captivated by The Ponds. They have recognised that the suburb offers a sense of being detached from the city but is still within close proximity to major shopping centres, business hubs including Rouse Hill Town Centre and transport links.”
Land lots to be released during Spring boast many features including wide frontages, bushland views, flat contours and no community levies. Prices start at $290,000 for small land lots from 407 square metres.
More than 500 homes are now occupied in the suburb with over 1500 residents.
The Ponds is a 320 hectare master-planned community which is being developed by Landcom and Australand. It will comprise over 3,000 homes when complete.
